Supply list summary
The supply list is broken down by chapter in the workshop if you prefer to gather the supplies stage by stage
Papers
• Large selection of lightweight papers such as tissue, and dressmaking pattern paper, in neutral shades.
• Large piece of white paper / card to use as background when photographing plants.
• Baking paper
• A4 copier paper
• Sandpaper
• Stiff card
• Lightweight card
• Freezer paper - available here
• Scraps of ephemera such as handwritten letters, documents, botanical images
Fabric / thread / stitch
• Scraps of neutral coloured fabrics in different weights and textures
• Smooth lightweight fabric such as cotton A4 size
• Embroidery threads
• Cotton fabric in white or cream colour
• Needle and thread
• Scraps of cream/white silk - like this
Glues / paints / pastes
• Water-based household paint (the sort that you'd use for interior walls, called emulsion in the UK)
• Brown ink pad - such as this
• Brown oil pastel - available here
• Brown ink or watercolour paint. I used Koh-i-nor dye paints
• Acrylic paints
• Gold paint
• Fine liner pen in black or brown
• White gesso - this will work well
• Matte heavy gel medium - I used Liquitex - can be found here
• Crackle paste, I used Range Opaque Crackle - available here on amazon
• Texture paste (I used Daler and Rowney - available here)
